Apple has closed the jailbreak support for
this. TaiG support as well as PP Jailbreak supports is not working any more on
the iOS 8.1.3 version. We have to wait until upgrade these tool version or
Pangu8 tool version to run Cydia into it. These three tool’s developers have
confirmed that starting of doing experiments. Most probably, TaiG tool will do
something for this matter. So, invite you to wait, until TaiG jailbreak confirmed
their success of jailbreak iOS 8.1.3 for Cydia. Until then, use following
button to download the latest TaiG version for iOS 8.1.2 and below version’s
jailbreaks.
Does TaiG jailbreak iOS 8.2 or iOS 8.1.3?
Apple had patched several vulnerabilities used by
the TaiG and PPJailbreak in iOS 8.1.3, and also patches vulnerabilities in iOS 8.2,
so you can’t use the PP Jailbreak for iOS 8.2.
Some users report having been able to jailbreak iOS 8.2 beta using TaiG
but we were not able to confirm this with our testings. Since iOS 8.2 is still
in beta, it is very possible that Apple will plug the exploits used by TaiG
before the software’s public release.
While jailbreak iOS 8.1.2should be straight forward, we will have a guide up soon for those of you who
are new to this jailbreak process. Stay tuned for that. Jailbreak 8.1.2
using the latest TaiG utility for all iOS 8-based devices, including the iPhone
6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, iPhone 4S, the 5th generation iPod
touch, Apple’s A8X iPad Air 2, the new iPad mini 3, the original iPad Air, the
Retina iPad mini 2, iPad 4, iPad 3 and, last but not least, the iPad 2.
Chinese jailbreak team, TaiG, has
rubbished rumours of an iOS 8.2 jailbreak release, saying that they wanted to
release it "as soon as possible".
TaiG
team was speculated to release a jailbreak at the 2015 Mobile Security Summit
(MSS) in Beijing on 27 March. Famous iOS hackers Comex, Chronic,
p0sixninja and Pimskeks will speak at the MSS, which is organised by
the TaiG jailbreak team.
Should the TaiG team take care of iOS 8.2, it seems fairly
possible that an iOS 8.1.3 jailbreak will also be a part of the deal.
Ordinarily, it wouldn’t make sense for anybody to stick with an older piece of
software, and most would be encouraged to update to iOS 8.2 and subsequently
jailbreak. However, the most recent public build seems inundated with issues
ranging from battery retention to Mobile Safari bugs, and so if you are on iOS
8.1.3, we’d definitely encourage you to stick with what you have for now and
wait to see what unfolds.
